About Brian Angus:
As the CEO of the Anne Arundel Community Action Partnership, Brian Angus applies his extensive experience in human resources, financial administration, planning and program development to work with others in tackling the issue of poverty in Anne Arundel County.
His energetic, professional style engages others as he facilitates community problem solving collaborations to accomplish together what cannot be accomplished alone. Four of Brian's many collaborative efforts have received state or national recognition and addressed issues of Energy Conservation, Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods and Poverty.
Brian has a proven track record for building more efficient and effective organizations by identifying infrastructure weaknesses and restructuring systems.
Prior to his work at the Anne Arundel Community Action Partnership, Brian served as the Executive Director of the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, Program Director for the Montachusett Opportunity Council and Community Organizer for the Vista Volunteers in Service to America. Brian has a BS in Psychology from Fitchburg State College.
